Memorial Day to Remember!
While it’s not my intention to make anyone jealous….riiiiiight…I feel obligated to blog about how I spent my memorial day weekend. Troy and I went to our good friend, Adam Carolla’s house for a celebrity bullshit party! We were, like….um…I don’t know, Adam…the lawn needs mowing…we’re really tired. But he was insistent. He was hosting some charity thing called the ShakesBEER Kegger to benefit poor rich kids?…I’m not sure. All I know is, SweetBaby wanted to go, so we went!
The first thing we noticed was a plethora of movie stars. OMG, the place was lousy with em. And by lousy, I mean devoid. Whatev…we came to see Adam, not his guests.
The second thing we noticed was veggie burgers!!! Nice!
Third thing…odd band choice…fourth thing…free sunglasses for VIPs!!!…fifth thing…shortage of umbrellas…sixth thing…front row seats!…seventh thing…funny-as-f*¢k comedians….eighth thing…no more beer (wtf Adam?)…ninth thing…Jim Norton was hysterical!…tenth thing…Jay and slightly-overweight-high-bidder-lady were kinda creepy…eleventh thing…loved getting our car before ass-hole bently dude, not because we were first, but because we were nice about it!…twelfth thing…I don’t think we were at Adam’s actual house.
All-in-all, my only regret is that the beer ran out before I got hammered. I had some award-winning stunts that I had been practicing, but I needed about 5 more beers in me before winding up the courage.
Ah well…maybe next year. Sorry to disappoint.
